Provision of Diabetes Medications for Patients

The project aims to secure essential medications and treatment for underprivileged diabetes patients through the clinics of the Diabetes Friends Charitable Association, while providing continuous medical follow-up to ensure the stability of their health condition throughout the implementation period.

Project Objectives :

Diagnosing medical cases to assess patients’ needs through diabetes screenings conducted at the association’s clinics.
Providing essential medications and treatment for 200 diabetes patients.
Promoting health awareness and education among diabetes patients through health and nutrition education programs delivered at the association’s clinics.
Educating 200 patients on the proper use of medications and rationalizing their consumption.
Contributing to the reduction of complications associated with recurrent high blood glucose levels.

Project Outputs :

Treatment was provided to 200 underprivileged diabetes patients. Eligible low-income patients received 100% of their required diabetes medications. Improved blood glucose levels and HbA1c test results were observed among beneficiaries. Continuous follow-up by medical staff, with the provision of nutritional and behavioral guidance to beneficiaries.
